"Thank you for my beautiful flowers, they were perfect".
This couple married at Edinburgh Castle on a really hot July day. The bride sent me photos of her beautiful family and with her permission I will hopefully be able to share the photos on here. In the meantime, here are some photos of the flowers. I used Sweet Avalanche, a spray rose called Jana (a beautiful, pale peachy pink) and a white spray rose. For the little girl's wrist corsage I wired some roses and ivy leaves together and stitched the arrangement onto ribbon.

Pale pink Germini buttonhole and wrist corsage
I gave birth to my son, Euan, in October and took a break from doing floristry. However, July harks my return to floristry and it feels great to be creative with flowers again!
At the start of the month I created a pale pink Germini buttonhole and wrist corsage:

British grown flower bouquet
"Thank you. The flowers were perfect."
Therese, June 2013
Therese and Stephen wanted British grown flowers where possible. Therese didn't mind what colour the flowers were. I chose the focal flowers first, the cerise pink peonies, and the colour scheme followed suit.

Rose and ivy garlands to adorn a font
I was asked to add some fresh pink roses to two ivy garlands purchased from Hobbycraft. The garlands were going to adorn a font for the Christening of baby twin girls. I selected a medium sized rose called La Poeme.
I wired 40 individual flower heads and taped them to the garland using florist tape.
