Dalhousie Castle sits just outside of Edinburgh. It's a beautiful building
to be married in and always a pleasure working there. I usually spend a
few hours at a wedding venue on the day of the ceremony - setting up
the table centres and making the pedestals - but this wedding required
two trips. I spent Friday evening setting up the tall conical vases -
filling them with gel beads, covering the top with ribbon and wire, and
securing the container with oasis, thus allowing me plenty of time on
the Saturday to make all the arrangements in situ.
The flowers used included blue hydrangea, Akito roses, white spray roses, gypsophila, white carnations and thistles.
