Scottish wedding at Royal Physicians Hall, Edinburgh

In Scotland, rose and thistle are a popular choice for wedding flowers and no wonder, the contrast in shape and texture mean they are a good 'marriage'. Some gorgeous professional photographs of the wedding at Howies Waterloo Place, Edinburgh

I just love it when I'm e-mailed professional wedding photos. Seeing the bride in her dress and looking amazing, the guests enjoying themselves, and of course the flowers on show! Cara e-mailed these to me this week. The photographer is Rod Irvine
