Jennifer and Nik, St James, Stockbridge

Jennifer and Nik got married at St James church in Stockbridge. The church is decorated with murals by William Hole (who is the artist responsible for the murals in the Scottish Portrait Gallery).

1895 mural by William Hole

The colour scheme was blue and the bride's bouquet was made with hydrangea, thistle, delphiniums, eucalyptus and asparagus fern.

The three bridesmaids' bouquets were made with hydrangea, white spray roses and thistle.

One large pedestal adorned the church. I used white delphiniums, blue delphiniums, pussy willow, hydrangea , wax flower and some white spray roses.

The groom's buttonhole included some white spray roses to differentiate it from the others.
