Flower accessories for a wedding
I made pretty wrist corsages for three girls aged 8, 9 and 10. I wired the spray roses and gypsophila to a bracelet I made out of coloured aluminium wire. It's ideal for small wrists as it's malleable and can be manipulated to fit around the wrist securely.
For the adults, I made a thistle and heather buttonhole, a white carnation buttonhole, and a hair corsage made with lime green chrysanthemums, a small headed pink rose and purple statice. It's important with hair accessories that you use flowers that do not wilt quickly as a lot of body heat is lost through the head. The hair corsage was wired to a butterfly clip provided by the client.

Wedding at the Vu in Bathgate
Claire wanted hand-tied bouquets incorporating roses and some thistle. I placed five wired thistles in each bouquet.
The corsages and cake topper were made with thistle, white spray rose and purple eustoma.
Congratulations Claire and Graeme!

Yellow and pink orchid corsage
"Many thanks for the lovely wedding flowers, they were super."
I was thrilled to find this Phalaenopsis as it complemented the Linda's outfit perfectly. She had sent me a snap of her dress fabric. I kept the design simple - I used ivy leaves to support the flowers and protect them from clothing and used a magnet attachment so she didn't have to pin the corsage to her dress.
