Sam and David May 2013
Sam and David were married at the beautiful Dundas Castle. The predominant motifs in regards to the decoration were candles and ivy, which fitted perfectly with the romantic castle setting . Two topiary trees decorated the entrance to the winding staircase and candles and ivy adorned the stone alcoves. The ceremony was held in the Auld Keep, which dates back to the fifteenth century. Lots of Ivy (I had ordered 100 lengths!), candles and fish bowls decorated with hydrangea adorned this room and the adjacent one where the couple signed the register.
Sam's bouquet was made with Sweet Avalanche roses, Avalanche roses, Nigella (also known as 'love in the mist') and eucalyptus. The bridesmaids bouquets were made with white Avalanche roses.
